Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka was born in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. The father of her Sergey (d. 2019) was an athlete in ice hockey. Aryna Sabalenka was born May 5, 1998 in Minsk Belarus. She holds 12 WTA titles in her career, including winning the Grand Slam of 2023 Australian Open. Doubles is an additional area in which she is a pro. This year's US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both won with Elise Mertens. She won her both the WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian partners, making the Sunshine Double. Four women's teams could have done this achievement. In the month of January, 2023, she was ranked the highest in singles. In the 23rd of August 2021, she rose to the second spot in the rankings. When she played doubles, she managed to push herself to first during February of that same year after her win in Melbourne and becoming the 2nd tennis player from Belarus to achieve success in this area. Her coach was former Russian tennis pro Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until at the end of season in 2019 and in the first quarter of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was in a brief stint as her partner from the month of August to September. Antonio Dubrov, her fellow countryman is coaching her for the past year. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova are among her greatest idols.
